Indian hegemonic designs posing serious threat to regional peace, stability: Analysts
Dr. Moeed Yusuf (Special Assistant on National Security): Pakistan has always practiced wistful restraint against India, but if war is imposed on us, Islamabad will not tolerate any aggression. Pakistan is a mature and responsible state and does not want to indulge in any conflict in the region. India is a sponsor of terrorism and we have conveyed this fact to the world. India through its policies has taken upon itself to the path of self-destruction. Pakistan has evolved over the time but India is not ready to acknowledge it. The world has started realizing our narrative and it will continue to realize the reality. Unless India starts reversing its 5th August, 2019 actions, the situation in IIOJ&K will get out of hands of New Delhi. We presented our view very clearly that Pakistan stands for peace in the region. India under the current regime is pursuing Hindutva ideology which seeks expanding control beyond its national borders. The whole region, including China, Afghanistan and Nepal, has realized these Indian ambitions and has taken steps to counter it.
Fawad Chaudhary (Federal Minister for Science and Technology): Indian cruel face has already been exposed in front of the world. Since Narendra Modi has come into power in India, there is only the promotion of fascism and Hindutva ideology in the country. The rights of minorities are not safe in Indian illegal occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The world is also taking the notice of Indian policies and human rights violations in the IIOJ&K. International community should take notice of Indian brutalities and atrocities in IIOJ&K. Pakistan wants peace and its desire for peace should not be misconstrued as its weakness.
Tasneem Asalm (Former Ambassador): It is unfortunate that the world is adopting double standards for India and Pakistan. In a recent report, Indian links with a militant organization ISIS has been exposed, but there is no reaction of the world. Similarly, French president issued anti-Islam statement recently but the world is silent. It seems that western countries have no concerns over human rights violation and atrocities committed by India in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Everyday lynching incidents are being reported in India but no attention is paid by international community. But, if a minor incident occurs in Pakistan the world start condemning and criticizing us. However, Pakistan will continue exposing cruel Indian policies among the think tanks and parliaments of different countries. Indian hegemonic designs are posing serious threat to regional peace and stability
Lieutenant General, retired, Raza Muhammad Khan (Defense Analyst): I would refer the reports of UN human rights council on prevailing situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The UNHR council wrote a letter directly to India to stop human rights abuses in IIOJ&K. We also have evidences of Indian involvement in internal affairs of Pakistan in shape of apprehended Kulbhushan Yadhav, who himself admitted that Indian top leadership is involved in efforts to sabotage CPEC. Moreover, there are also evidences of Indian involvement in Balochistan and Karachi terror incidents. India is also involved in state terrorism in Pakistan using Afghan soil. Peace-loving nations must know that Indian aggressive policies are threat to for regional peace and stability. It is the responsibility of United Nations Security Council to force India to stop its aggressive policies against Pakistan and China. Pakistan is fully capable and always prepared to respond any Indian aggression in a befitting manner.
