Moriah Webster considered ‘heart and soul’ of NH Food Bank kitchen

New Hampshire Food Bank production chef Moriah Webster is considered the ‘heart and soul’ of the kitchen.She started as a volunteer 10 years ago, helping prepare food each day for people in need, and worked her way up to starting a career with the food bank.”I think sometimes you get a chance in life to do something incredible,” Webster said. “And to know that you go to work every day and you feed hungry people, and you can change somebody’s day with just a simple meal, really makes a difference.”Webster said the program changed her life and helped develop her skills. “Doing what I do makes me feel so good at the end of the day,” Webster said. “I couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my life.”She said being considered the heart and soul of the food bank makes her feel very proud.Webster is also known for bringing out the best in people and is proud of her team.”It’s so nice to come here every day and know that people have your back, and we can produce a very high-quality product,” Webster said. She said the food bank couldn’t make everything possible without the support of the volunteers.
